Congratulations to the team of Tom Hanlon, Hugh McGann, Adam Mesbur, and John Carroll which emerged victorious in the Egan Trophy (IBU All-Ireland Teams Championship) held in Belfast over the weekend, and thanks to Harold Curran for organising the event and Alan Hill for directing it. A good tune-up for the winners, who along with Nick FitzGibbon, Mark Moran, and NPC Grainne Barton will be Ireland’s Open Team representatives at the upcoming European Championships in Madeira.
The weekend of 10-12 June sees the final congress of the 2021/22 season, the Yeats Country (Sligo) Congress, online on BBO. As with most recent congresses, the organisers have opted for evening events only. The proceeds of the congress will go to charities in Sligo, Mayo, and Limerick, so please support these competitions if you can. The schedule is:
