The European Championships scheduled for Madeira, Portugal, from 12-22 June 2021 have been cancelled. It is hoped to hold the championships in 2022 instead.
In the interim, should the World Bridge Federation decide to proceed with the scheduled World Championships later this year, the European Bridge League is considering some form of online qualification event to determine the European entries. A final decision on the World Championships is expected from the WBF in May.
