We had a huge entry of 120 teams for the Holmes Wilson Trophy (national open teams championship) in Mount Wolseley over the weekend of 22-23 February.
The winners were the western quartet of Enda Glynn, Gay Keaveney, Ciaran Coyne, and David Walsh. Second place went to Marcin Rudzinski, Wojciech Gorczyca, Ronan McMaugh, and Michael Donnelly, with Rebecca Brown, Gilda Pender, Hilary Dowling-Long, and Ann-Marie Horan-Carroll third, and Breda Synnott, Kevin O’Dea, Conor Moore, and Mick Lynch fourth.
Well done to them and to all the category prizewinners, and thanks to TDs Fearghal O’Boyle, Mairead Basquille, John Royds, John Crimmins, Bernard Higgins, Huey Daly, and their assistants for ensuring that the event went smoothly. Full results can be found here.
