Our thanks to Tournament Directors Diarmuid Reddan and Fearghal O’Boyle for making sure everything went smoothly over the weekend.

And the Irish team (Tom Hanlon & Tommy Garvey, Nick FitzGibbon & Adam Mesbur, Mark Moran & John Carroll, with NPC Grainne Barton) gave it their best shot in the second weekend of the Camrose Trophy on RealBridge, winning three of their first four matches, to close the gap that England had established on the first weekend of the competition, and set up a decisive final match against the leaders. An 18-2 win would have seen Ireland take the title, but the team couldn’t quite manage it, winning the match 15.24 to 4.76, to finish just behind England in second place.
