CLUB FACTORS

To make the calculations simpler for smaller clubs where one movement would be all they would expect to play and where the regular players in the weekly competition would be substantially the same from week to week, each will be given a Club Factor each year. This is a composite factor for their membership that will remove the necessity of calculating a competition factor each week

READY RECKONER

These links are to are tables that can be used to provide an instant award schedule for your movement, depending on your Club or Competition Factor. As these are set out in bands e.g. 13 - 16 pairs played, they may not exactly replicate every individual calculation, but the amounts shown may be awarded.

TWO & THREE SESSION EVENTS

Calculate the top award on the number of pairs played using the Competition factor or use the appropriate Ready Reckoner table.

TEAM COMPETITIONS

Double the number of Teams played and use the Competition factor as before or use the appropriate Ready Reckoner table.

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIONS

Double the number of pairs played and use the Competition factor as before or use the appropriate Ready Reckoner table.

HANDICAP COMPETITIONS

Local points should always be awarded on the basis of the GROSS score

REGIONAL or OPEN EVENTS

Calculate as for Club events as above and Double the Awards.

AWARDS FOR MEMBERS OF CLUBS NOT RETURNING ANNUAL M Ps

When Clubs do not make a return of Master Points for a season, their Members will each be awarded Local Points on the following scale:

Club Factor                       4                     200 Local Points

Club Factor                       5                     250 Local Points

Club Factor                       6                     300 Local Points

All Affiliated members will be awarded a bonus of 100 Local Points on

September 1st each year
