SILVER MEDAL FOR IRELAND

IN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

The Irish BETDAQ team held their composure over the last two closely contested days of the Championships to finish in Silver Medal position with a score of 594 VPs. Gold went to the Italian team of professional players, sponsored by Lavazza on a score of 665 VPs and Bronze went to Norway on a score of 590 VPs.  By finishing in the leading six positions in these championships,the first three countries together with Sweden, Netherlands and Poland have qualified for the Bermuda Bowl - World Championships - to be held in Shanghai, China in October 2007

In the Ladies series,  France took Gold, Netherlands Silver and England Bronze, while the first three places in the Seniors Championships went to Germany, Sweden and France.
