And some sad news from Waterford, with the death of Michael Brennan, a long-standing stalwart of bridge in the region. Michael was a player, teacher, mentor, administrator, and commentator, who wrote a bridge column in the local paper, and provided inspiration to many bridge players in and around Waterford. Michael died on Good Friday after a short illness. We offer our condolences to his wife Noelyne, his family, his many friends, and all the bridge community. May he rest in peace.
