Well done to Team Moran (comprising Irish internationals Grainne Barton, John Carroll, Nick FitzGibbon, Tommy Garvey, Tom Hanlon, Hugh McGann, and Adam Mesbur, plus honorary Irishman Leslie Amoils) on their success in a top-class field in the recent online World Bridge Tour Champions Cup III. At first glance, it might appear to have been a straightforward trap-to-line victory, given that the team won the qualifying Swiss, but closer analysis shows they had to come back from an initial deficit in both the semi-final and the final.
