Many thanks to those who attended the Annual General Meeting of the CBAI in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Limerick, on Saturday 1 July. It was very helpful to hear the views of the members on the main issues of relevance to the Irish bridge community. The game of bridge afterwards raised almost €1,000 for the National Council for the Blind of Ireland.
The appointed officers of the Association for the 2023/24 season are:
- President – Gordon Lessells (North Munster Region)
- President-Elect – Catherine Byrne (Dublin North Region)
- Vice-President – Martin Brady (replacing Emer Kee, who had reached the end of her term)
- Honorary Secretary – Linda O’Riordan
- Honorary Treasurer – Brendan Martin
