Leading Irish international Tom Hanlon featured recently as the subject of “The Setting Trick” podcast. Here’s a link at which you can hear (or read) the interview with Tom, during which he discusses, amongst other things, how he got into bridge, his experiences playing around the world as a bridge professional, his long partnership with Hugh McGann, and the dynamics of the current Irish Open Team and the preparation and practice they are putting into the upcoming World Championships (Bermuda Bowl) in Marrakech.

It’s a very interesting read. Tom is currently in Chicago for the summer North American Bridge Championship, and we wish him every success there, and, of course, with the Irish team in Marrakech.
