A special edition of the WBF Women’s Newsletter has been published, to mark the upcoming World Championships in Marrakech, for the Venice Cup. We had hoped that there would be Irish participation at that event, as our Women’s Team were first reserves following the European qualifiers last summer, but in the end the hoped-for spot did not materialise, unfortunately.
There was, however, substantial Irish involvement in the newsletter, as our own Mary Kelly-Rogers, who is on the WBF Women’s Committee, was the editor responsible for its production. You’ll find it here; it contains a wealth of information on the history of the Venice Cup, and on the teams participating this year. We hope you’ll find it interesting.
