Good luck to all the participants in the Pre-Qualifier Trials being held this weekend in the Templeogue Bridge Centre. This is the second year of this event, which will see two pairs qualify to make up a team for the Camrose Trials, and two to make up a team for the Lady Milne Trials.
Unfortunately, a few late cry-offs, for genuine emergency reasons (and definitely not rugby-related!) have reduced the field from the original 18 to the following 15 pairs. (On the positive side, it did allow us to amend the schedule to ensure that all the players would be free to watch the Ireland-South Africa match.) The running scores after each session will be available here. The session times are Saturday 11:30-14:00 and 15:00-18:20, and Sunday 10:00-13:20 and 14:20-17:40, and kibitzers are welcome, subject to the usual rules.
