Thanks to all the clubs who took part in the Celtic Nations Simultaneous Pairs competition. If you haven’t already uploaded your results, please do so as soon as possible. We would also welcome any feedback on the format or organisation of this competition.
Don’t forget to remind your participants that they can check their ranking in the national standings on the ECATS website.
The funds raised via these Simultaneous Pairs will be allocated to the CBAI’s Junior Committee for use in the promotion and development of the game in players aged under 26, a very good cause.
We very much hope that your club enjoyed this year’s Celtic Nations Sims – thanks again for the support. And if you enjoyed the experience and want to go again, or missed out and want to try your luck next time, you have one more opportunity this season. The third and final Simultaneous Pairs week is the CBAI’s Simultaneous Pairs, which will take place in the week of 4-8 March, with different games on every night of the week. (Please note the change of date from the traditional date of the first week in February, which is due to the arrival of the new St Brigid’s Day holiday in that week.) Just let us know if your club would like to participate.
