Thanks again to all the clubs and players who supported the CBAI Simultaneous Pairs week in March. We moved from February this year to avoid the new St Brigid’s Day holiday on the Monday of our traditional Sims week, and the participant numbers for the week increased by almost 10%, mainly on Monday night, which justified the move. Puzzlingly, the numbers for both Thursday night and Friday night were down a little on the previous year – perhaps smaller numbers playing in the online clubs on those nights?
