The weekend saw the finals of the National Confined Pairs and Teams Championships (for the Lambert Cup and Cooper Cup respectively) and the National Novice Pairs Championship (for the JJ Murphy Trophy) at the Templeogue Bridge Centre, with excellent numbers attending. It was particularly gratifying to welcome the novices back, for the first time since covid; many of them were playing in their first serious competition, and we thank them for their bravery, and hope they enjoyed the day!
