CBAI member Kathleen Dunne celebrated her hundredth birthday last night in the very best possible way … by playing a game of bridge in her local club, Palmerstown Bridge Club. Having retired from business in 1984, Kathleen attended bridge classes and the following year, she and her partner Colette Donnelly joined the Palmerstown club. They have played there regularly ever since. Kathleen is also a member of both Clondalkin and Chapelizod bridge clubs. She loves the game, and looks forward very much to her bridge nights and to meeting the many friends she has made.

The club recognised the occasion with a small presentation to Kathleen and by awarding her honorary life membership. Congratulations to Kathleen from all at the CBAI, and here’s to many more years of good health and enjoyable bridge!
