The first congress of the season was held over the weekend, in the ABCD Bridge Centre in Drogheda, with strong attendances across the board. The winners of the various competitions were:

This week we have the BBO and Funbridge daylongs to raise funds to assist our international players heading to Argentina for the World Bridge Games with their expenses. There will be daily 20-board individual tournaments (with a robot partner) on both the BBO and the Funbridge platforms every day from Monday to Sunday. You can play the 20 boards over as long as you like within a 24-hour period (from midnight to midnight on BBO, from 11 pm to 11 pm on Funbridge). You’ll find the Funbridge tournaments here and the BBO tournaments here (just sign in using your usual logon credentials for the relevant platform); all support will be greatly appreciated.
