Thanks to all the clubs who took part in the IBU Simultaneous Pairs competition. If you haven’t already uploaded your results, please do so as soon as possible. We would also welcome any feedback on the format or organisation of this competition.
Don’t forget to remind your participants that they can check their ranking in the national standings on the ECATS website.
The funds raised via these Simultaneous Pairs will make an important contribution to the IBU (a confederation of the CBAI and the NIBU which is responsible for sending teams to international competitions), which will have a large financial commitment next season, as we anticipate sending four teams to the European Championships to be held in Herning, Denmark, next summer.

The next Simultaneous Pairs week is the Celtic Nations Simultaneous Pairs, which in the case of the CBAI is to raise money specifically for junior bridge, and will take place in the week of 4-8 December, with games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and a combined game on Thursday/Friday. Just let us know if your club would like to participate.
