As part of its service to members, the CBAI’s International Committee has committed to holding regular feedback sessions to hear the views of trialists and potential trialists on how the CBAI’s international trials are being run – format, venue, timings, entry fees, etc.

This season’s session is planned for Friday 1 December at 6 p.m., via Zoom, with Derek O’Gorman of the International Committee in the chair. The Zoom link has been sent by email to anyone entitled to attend for whom we have a valid email address. If you have more than 50 National Points, but did not receive this email, and would like to attend, please let us know by email to info@cbai.ie and we’ll send on the link.

There will be plenty of opportunity during the meeting for you to ask questions or make comments or suggestions. If you can’t attend and would like to raise an issue anyway, or would prefer to do this anonymously even if you are planning to attend, then you’re welcome to send questions or comments to us at info@cbai.ie, and we will make sure that they are passed on to the committee. We’d like to receive any such questions no later than close of business on Tuesday 28 November, please, to allow them to be passed on to the committee.

A few other matters that may be of interest to potential trialists: (1) the deadline for entries to the Teltscher trials is approaching (it’s 15 December); (2) we have news of a new WBF Online Women’s Teams competition on RealBridge on 16-18 February 2024 – see here for more details; and (3) dates for the IBU trials for the 2024 European Championships in Herning, Denmark have been published on our calendar; full details here. The closing date for entries to the first two sets of trials – Open and Women – is 1 December. Entries to info@cbai.ie.
