A Junior Bridge Festival will be held on RealBridge on Sunday 2 July, with competitions for Under-16s, Under-21s, Under-26s, and Under-31s. There will be entrants from all over the world, and different start times apply, depending on the competition and your timezone. For Ireland, the U-16s will play 18-20 boards, in Pairs, and start at 15:00; the Under-21s will play 20-22 boards, in Teams, and start at 16:00; the Under-26s will play 28-32 boards, in Teams, and start at 16:00; and the Under-31s will play 28-32 boards, in Teams, and start at 17:00. Teams can consist of as many players as you like, typically 6 people. You must have your video and audio on throughout, and you must keep your mobile phone switched off, keep background noise to a minimum, and ask your opponents’ approval before leaving the table during play. And BGB’s Junior Online Pairs has been rescheduled for Saturday 23 September, starting at 11:00. This event will also be on RealBridge, and consists of two competitions, Under-26 (for the Paul Porteous Trophy) and Under-21s (for the Liz McGowan Trophy). Entry via the CBAI Junior Committee.
