Best of luck to Team Moran (Mark Moran, John Carroll, Tom Hanlon, Tommy Garvey, Adam Mesbur, and Nick FitzGibbon) who will be competing in the prestigious Lederer Trophy in London on 26/27 February. They’ll be trying to go one better than their second-placed finish on the last occasion the event was held, in 2020, and put Irish names on the trophy again – five of the members of the team are previous winners of the event. It won’t be easy given the star-studded field, but we’ll be cheering them on. Some of the matches will be shown on the BBO Vu-Graph facility, so hopefully the team will be at the business end of the competition and will feature. Full details here.
