We are very sad to report the death of Dublin bridge stalwart Mamie MacCormac, who passed away today after illness, surrounded by her loving family.
An international and a national champion, Mamie was a redoubtable opponent at the bridge table, but was also great fun, both at the table and away from it – one of the great characters of Irish bridge. We send our condolences to her husband Leo, her son Thomas, and all Mamie’s family and many friends. Funeral details will follow.
