The weekend saw the first live mixed championships since 2019, held in the Templeogue Bridge Centre. We were pleased with the turnout, although numbers were lower than pre-pandemic, and there was a strong field in both competitions.
In the pairs, Carol-Ann Cummins and John Noonan took up where they left off last season, while in the teams, three of our Grand Masters teamed up with the rising young star for a comfortable victory. A special mention to the team that came fourth in the Coen, which contains three current junior internationals. The prizewinners were:
