We were very sorry to learn of the death of Drogheda bridge stalwart Paddy Brennan. Apart from being a well-known and well-loved player and teacher, Paddy was one of the driving forces behind the recent development of the fantastic ABCD Bridge Centre in Drogheda, which is serving the town’s clubs so well. He was also very involved for many years in the Drogheda Congress.
Paddy is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis, by his children Pat, Paul, Pamela, Cilla, and Jenny, and by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We offer our sincere condolences to Phyllis, his children, his extended family, and to all his friends, especially those he made through bridge. May he rest in peace.
