The Regent Bridge Club, 25 Waterloo Road, Dublin 4, will hold a special pairs competition for Beginners and Novices on Friday 10 March at 19:30. This event, which is sponsored by Gavin Burke Solicitors, and is open to non-members of the Regent, provides a perfect opportunity for a “first competitive outing” for recent students of bridge, as all entrants will be inexperienced players, and the club committee will ensure that plenty of volunteers are on hand to make everyone feel comfortable. If you are a bridge teacher with some current or recent students interested in trying their hand at an actual competition, please encourage them to give this one a go!
