Congratulations to Cecilia Billiet, who was drawn from the hat as the winner of the newsletter quiz, and wins the lovely prize of 2 nights B&B and one dinner, for two people, in the 4* Mount Wolseley Hotel in Tullow.
The bridge conventions hidden in the anagrams were Leaping Michaels (CHAMPAGNE LILIES) and Lightner Doubles (BEHOLDING RESULT). A special mention in dispatches to the entrant who unscrambled the second one as “Turgid Lebensohl”, a description that will doubtless have struck a chord with the many people who have struggled with that particular convention!
