A reminder that the Waterford mini-Congress will take place on BBO over the weekend, with gala pairs for Masters/Intermediate As and Intermediate Bs/Novices on both Friday and Saturday evenings, starting at 19:30. Pre-entry is required to John Phelan including your real name, BBO name, and grade.
Then the following weekend (14/15 January) sees the Men’s and Women’s National Pairs & Teams Championships in the Westgrove Hotel in Clane. Current entries are on the low side, which is disappointing after the near full house at the Master Pairs just before Christmas (and the weather will definitely be better this time, we promise!). You can enter here.
Then (20/22 January) we have Cork Congress in the lovely Maryborough Hotel, with pre-entry again required. And the month concludes with Ennis Congress (27/29 January), again on BBO.
Plenty of bridge to keep you busy in January … and when you’re making your plans for February please don’t forget the Holmes Wilson in the Mount Wolseley Hotel, Tullow, on 11/12 February.
